We have plenty of options, really. But, all of the options together, though they would work... would sort of be a cobbled together mess. Plus the drivability of an EMS is extremely hard to get right. Would take alot of dyno time. AND, our fuel pump is only good to so much PSI... so with our solutions available, we can max that out easy.

What standalones support DI right now? You'd need different injector drivers (DI operates at much higher opening voltage) not to mention needing the logic for PWM control of the fuel pump pressure solenoid.
I'm honestly asking, because I'm not up on DI + standalones.

Not sure what you mean by that. Please do explain.
Am I afraid of tuning? Hell no. Amd I afraid of dropping $2k+ on a system that I could get around for around $600? Not really, I just find it unwise. Am I afraid to test the limits of this motor? No, not at all. If it breaks, bring it back stronger. But, I know there are limitations that I cannot get around at the moment. The fuel pump can only handle so much, thats the biggest thing holding us back right now (on a hardware level). There really are no tuning solutions holding us back TOO MUCH, right now.

What are you looking for? I asked a simple question and you gave me your answer. No wonder nothing gets done on here. If guys like you with the potential would put as much effort into this platform's aftermarket R&D then you do trying to flex your E-Dix on a forum maybe this platform will get somewhere. No wonder HPTuners want's nothing to do with the LNF community.....

Its not that I have potential, because I am still limited by a pretty strict budget, plus, stuff takes time. This winter will be big, and I will be doing a bunch of R&D. Next summer will be even bigger, and we will be doing even more R&D. Sucks I came into the game late, and am still going to be on the forefront.
Nothing about an E-Dick here. Not sure what else I can do at this time. I have been on the forefront of alot of problem solving on this platform. Moreso than anyone on this site knows. I have been talking with Vince, and oh... I found a solution for tuning. I have talked to Gimpster, and oh... we found something alot of people would like to know, but we won't release it yet. I have used my brain and found a possible solution to fuel pressure, but I can't try it because my car is 2 hours away from me.
Plus, I work a full time job, and a part time job, and take 16 credit hours in college. I am a busy man. I wish I could devote my life to tuning this car, but I have priorities too.
