hey guys,
i am currently having boost problems occassionaly. When i am driving down the road my car will randomly just loose boost and stay that way for a random amount of time. It is never like that when i start out, but after driving for a bit it sometimes happens. Like i said it is completely random when it happens, occasionaly a cel pops up and when it does it is for either the evap or for the maf or both, but i just replaced the evap for another problem. Any ideas with what is wrong? I dont want to spend $70 bucks on a new maf if that isn't it. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

 

Tuned? GMS1?

 

check and see if your MAF is getting a signal. If it isnt, then replace. Then go from there

 

Well i bought the car with a tune on it, but i do not know if it was a canned tune or how it was tuned or who tuned it, the dealer couldn't tell me. Also, sorry for being a beginer, but how do i check to see if the maf is getting signal? If it means anything the mods are: tune(20-23psi, not sure), hahn catback, electronic exhaust delete kit, hahn charge piping, hahn cai, and tre or tri intercooler. Thats as much as i know is done to it. Thanks .

 

get a multi meter and check the voltages going to the wires on the maf
