Bov and charge pipe question
Sorry for all the questions I'm new to the turbo cobalts... so If I weld the bov flange like zzp did to their pipe... put the block off plate on the bov that is on the car. What else do I need to do to make it right...
Maf relocate. Use the treadstone block off plate. Tuning
Or
Bung welded to pipe bung welded to intake pipe, recirculate the bov to the intake and no tuning no maf relocate

K i have a ttr block off plate. Will that be ok... and I was going to.get it tune..... maf should be before the bov right
That is all going to depend on what setup you go with. If you're doing a maf relocate, the maf is going to be after the bov, which is the most ideal in that situation. If you're doing a recirc setup the maf MUST be located before the turbo to get the most benefits out of a recirc. Thus the maf being long before the bov in this situation.
Then I have to decide if the cost is worth it.... I just bought a ZZP intake and forge BPV (for my HHR) So ill see how loud that is before I buy a BOV. But
HKS BOV -$269
bov flange $40
maf extension $20?
tune $100-$500
For figure $325 for the sound lol still may do it though!

DO NOT buy the MAF exention. I had 2 of them for ZZP and all they did was cause MAF failures and error codes.
If you relocated the MAF, cut open the wire loom the MAF connector it in and pull out the MAF wires until the OEM plug reaches the new MAF location. There is plenty of wire to do this. Get some new loom, wrap the wires, and tape it all back up.
