Bov conversion
im wondering how to get rid of the bpv and make it bov what i will need to do that and i know everyone says.....the bpv is fine and can handle all the things you can throw at it with stock turbo but f*** that i want to here my car say pshhhhh f*** you to the kid im racing
Treadstone has a full charge pipe and intercooler kit for $640 for the TR8. Add in a BOV $225, it is a TurboSmart 53mm Raceport. It works great and I love mine. Add in a BPV block off plate for $40 bux and you should be good. You can get rid of that gay plastic. You will need to tune for the BOV. The MAF will be relocated to the lower charge pipe. Treadstone is finishing up some revised lower piping this week hopefully so once that is done it should be perfect.
By the way a BNR stage 2 turbo is a beastly upgrade. I am going with one this year. It has a 2871 impeller if I'm not mistaken... It also is a twin scroll turbo and works with the stock exhaust manifold. You must run an aftermarket BOV or BPV since the stage 2 loses the stock bpv... would be a great upgrade.

OR.......Get a K&N sri....a you will get to hear the turbo and the bpv better. With the bpv sounds almost like a bov and when you shift under hard acceleration it sounds like a kicked dog(I got that from a thread lol). It sounds good all around.

Black, click my sig, it links to the Treadstone site...
As far as turbo setups... I have been looking for a while and the BNR stage 2 seems like a good buy. It has a 2871 wheel. It is still a twin scroll, which means you can keep the stock manifold and it will spool faster that a normal "big" turbo setup. The stock manifold can support flow for up to 700hp or so I have read. Well within the limits for any cars driven by mere mortals like me. It will need a BOV since the housing for the turbo has to be machined/upgraded and it loses the ability to run a BPV. It will bolt straight up to the stock mani and DP and it includes everything you need for $1200. There are plenty of other turbo upgrade kits... but since you asked.

Im running the stock bpv with injen upper cp along with the HKS SSQV BOV with no tuning necessary and datalogged with no issues. I just tied the vacuum into the the line on top of the intake manifold. Loud as hell with 0 issues
Obviously the OP is just a ricer and wants the BOV so he can drive around town and let everyone hear him.
To answer the question you need the BOV, charge pipes with the MAF relocation, block off plate, and a tune. It should run you about $1000 give or take.
This has been discussed ad nauseum in many other threads and a search will do you a lot of good.

And before anyone says it yes it is part of the inner ricer in me
Or he can just do it like i did. My stock bpv still works. Its still connected like it was stock but i put the cp with BOV on my car and tied it in to the vacuum line on top the manifold with no tuning issues whatsoever. Total cost buying the stuff used for me was $250 and my maf is in stock location

Yeah im not near my car right now but i will be tonight so ill get a pic and post it latr or ill ask the guy i bought it from if he has a pic but its oretty simple. There is a vacuum line on top of your intake manifold. I unplugged that line and attached it to a T fitting for the vaccum line then ran one line off the T to the manifold and the other line off the T to the BOV
