Bov sync issues?!?!

Hey guys i recently got my treadstone 52mm bov installed and a block off plate. I sent vince logs and re sent me one adjusted for the bov. Well still getting rich spikes i DO NOT have a maf relocate but shouldnt matter. anyways i got this reply from vice :

"Yes, you are getting rich spikes. That's because your BOV isn't opening in sync with the ECM. I can't do anything about that in the tune, you'll have to adjust your BOV to sync with the ECM."

I dont know how to adjust this if even possible? It came with a couple springs im just using whatever was installed from guy i bought it off of which was on boards here. I have a weaker spring and a stronger spring just not sure which to try im thinking weaker spring? bov gets a lot of flutter like it may not be opening easy enough even under 23lbs.

P.S before you anyone asks why i even have a BOV is because
1. im going to a bigger turbo in the future.
2 i got a good deal on it and
3 i love the sound of a BOV

Bov on a stock turbo isn't worth the pain. Yeah it may sound nice but IMO it's not worth it.

Take it off till you get a bigger turbo or maf relocate

^^ Maf relocated pipe is sitting in my garage along with more parts (going HPT next month when a tuner comes to Vegas)

so i did the process of elimination on this one, put in a softer spring and it was meh about the same, so i put in the softest spring i had which was ridiculous car ran like crap weak ass BOV so i went the other direction and put in the hardest spring that came with the car, no rich spikes, fluttery bov but sounds about the same as it did and is running 10x better now, so guess we shall see what happens these next few days

how rich is your car hitting? I'm running the the HKS with now maf relocate, she hits rich if I go 1/4 throttle and let off the gas but she only spikes to 11/12ish on my AEM. Other than that she runs super smooth.

is it blowing off properly? try bypassing the little solenoid on the intake mani and run a line from the intake manifold, youl get better response from the BOV.

also make sure its adjusted properly,

also, your running a block off plate right?

Of course it matters, either relocate the maf or vent the bov back into the intake.

you can compensate for the blow off by tuning, honestly with a properly working BOV and tune, you can VTA just fine.

Yea Chris, once I get out to Vegas Term will be able to control the boost with computer tuning.

I would assume the ability to tell the ECU to lean out a little once throttle position goes below a preset value to compensate for the inevitable rich spike after VTA exists.

I guess the details that i wanted was how you said you can compensate for the bov by tuning, and its not in that thread. There's no tuning that you can do that can fix driveability issues with a bov, however majority of issues are mostly user install error and incorrectly adjsuted bov's.

Make sure the bov isn't opening under boost. I have that issue. I'm still working on it. I have added washers like people have said and still no luck
