After getting the results from this thread, I wanted to know about other tuners as well. It may be helpful or annoying.

But how long does it take BYT to adjust or tune your car?

Yeah, but this comment got me thinking I should of put these in the Tuning section.

 

Normally same day, all depends on his schedule. He has a life besides CSS.net

Thinks these two posts on Polls are lame as well. To many factors to to make a good poll on something like this.

 

2.5+ months so far.. im still waiting...... for my refund

 

Do tuners make a decent bit of cash? If so they should respond I'd say within a couple business days, that'd be reasonable.

 

that makes two of us.

paid him > did a few tunes (but wasn't done) > replaced a broken part on my car (he was aware of his)> tried getting ahold of him thru personal email, website email, PM's> been about 3 months and haven't gotten anything back. Asked for a half refund since he did half the job > still no response.

 

Yes but when tuners like nick offer unlimited updates unless you go meth or tvs thats a ton of emails and people trying to schedule appointments is nuts. I can easily log and send 4 updates a day to a tuner will i get a response on each one. No but an average for all tuners on this forum is 0-72 hours to respond.

I have been up at Nicks over 10 times for other things over tunes and see the amount of cars that show up. Not easy at all with a full time job family and business going.

Dont get me started on all the people that show up expecting to get tuned with issues.

 

lol i just dumped around 14k into mine and spent almost 5 with nick alone and still dont have mine back 100% yet.

And you guys are complaining about 100ish refund, lol

 

LOL i have 18k into mine and i beeen thou 5 tuners,.. till james fixed mine soo im aloud to complain

 

im just saying if u dont have time to tune i understand u gotta life ... just tell me so i dont waste anymore money is all lol plus i was fed up with having a car that car like crap... my frustration lvls were high just looking for any one to fix it .. now it fix gg... end rant

 

That i agree with, Nick does need to be more to the point when he says stuff. Sometime i guess what he is trying to say.

I agree, Trust me i think a bunch of us know my current situation with nick as well.

 

oh wells.. move on to someone else who is a lil more attentive,im gonna make 600+ so i wanna know my tuner is there for me if i need help etc..

 

anyways this is not about that this is about returning updates on tunes which only people with hp tuners can reply to really.

 

yea i have dumped alot of money into my car as well and i understand he is a busy guy...but dont take my money when you cant do your job. and then not respond. I also noticed he isnt a vendor on here anymore

 

Yep i had to switch Tunes as well and on a ZZP tune currently. Nick has been MIA for a little so i had no choice.

did not know about the vendor stuff, wow your right, former vendor now.

 

yea...i checked about a month ago and he wasn't a vendor. not sure for how long
