I was just wondering if nick was still tuning our cars, I havent spoken to him in that long (a few months) and havent been able to contact him through his website and it doesnt seem that he has been posting very much on this forum anymore. I dont want to be pushy by calling and leaving messages or using the request a quote on backyardturbo website so I was wondering if anyone on this site had a clue to his whereabouts. haha

same. I hope a css member didnt **** him off and cause him to say "f'ck yall, peace out". I also hope a member didnt capture him and rape him either.

 

Yeah it is kinda weird that he hasn't posted anything in forever...atleast feels like forever lol

 

He hasn't been active since dec 16th. I have called numerous times so I can get my base tune emailed so I have it and I haven't had a reply yet. Seems as if he just fell off the face of the earth. Your best bet is to find a different tuner.

 

yeah, I really dont want to find another tuner, all i did was add dejon charge piping upper and lower, and k & n SRI. I want the tune just becausei want it 100% but the car is running good, no CEL. I really like working with Nick and ill wait around a bit longer, but eventually ill have to find a tuner in the North Jersey or East PA area to tune me.

 

There are a few options if Nick doesn't come back in time.

I am available to help and so is James (Chevycobaltss3) and then there is a shop in West Chester PA that I highly recommend which is run by a friend of mine who specifically tunes GM with HP Tuners - Complete Street Performance.

I'm certain there are others on here that would be able to dial in your tune and/or make it better. Up to you

 

i know he had a lot of personal things going on maybe after he gets things in order he will be more active

 

Gremlin85 ill keep that in mind, but I want to give him at least another week before i really start looking around just for the sake of loyalty. But yeah most likely going to have to find another tuner.

Sub'd I used to talk to him on the reg but have heard from him like Oct. have called his cell, the shop nothin and he no longer revives pm I'm in def need of a retune but I hope everythings ok with him

 

I have been trying to get a hold of nick as well, You cant even PM Nick either cause he's "Not Accepting PM's right now". I heard about that Tuner in West Chester, Thats right around the corner from my house, So he's pretty Good Huh? Cause my Tune needs to be Tweeked

 

I kinda just figured he has a lot going on. I'm sure he has made good money with all the tunes and all the work he has done and for him to just stop, something had to have come up. The shop number goes straight to voicemail and PM's are a no go too.

 

yeah, I would HATE to be pushy thats why I asked on here, I mean I know this is his hobby turned profit, but im sure he doesnt want it consuming his life, maybe he just needed a break from all of the bull that may come with tuning and maintaining an online store. Hopefully he is good, his family, and he just wanted a break.

 

I wanted him to tune my car intially, but tried calling several times and the new shop he had bought is non-existant(empty), he was only about 1/2 hour from my old house so I figured I'd check it out.

I moved to FL and hit up James on the way down and couldn't be HAPPIER with his tune and knowledge with the ecotec series engine...

 

Hope he hasn't gone mia. I need a retune in a couple weeks

 

I read somewhere that they wound up not getting the new location. Get in contact with that Senna guy. I think his car is still with BYT or he just got it back.

 

Yes he is. He started from the ground up just by word of mouth about his tuning. He's tune every GM vehicle I owned since he started. He specializes in Vettes and GTO's but can do any GM that HP Tuners supports.

Yeah no idea where nick is. But there is iambroke, me, and possibly a few others like gremlin. That regularly get on that can help or at least send a base file and ect.

Not Bad, same Old ****....Lol, Was driving 2 Hours to Nicks house every time I needed a Re-Tune, Which was 3-4 times over the past 4 months cause I had a bad header exhaust leak. If he's done, I'll need to find a New hopefully closer Tuner.

That's nothing. Before I had HP Tuners I was driving the 5+ hours to West Chester to get a tune

I don't think he's done, just keeping low for a bit.
