yea he fell off of the earth. I paid him to tune, did a few swaps then nadda...emailed him, called him, PM'd him...smoke signals...nothing in response.

still waiting on a refund from him

I will keep you all posted. I am actually going to Nicks on Friday to drop of my ride so he can finish up the custom EFR build. I will find out whats going on and let you all know.

I am also willing to help out and have hp tuners myself. I can log for anyone that wants to get someone else to tune their car.

Yeah Nick has had alot going on lately with family and I am sure once things settle again he can relay what he thinks people need to know. Thanks is not for me to share.

I do see him pop on facebook but its only for about 20 seconds at a shot.

Either way i will keep you all posted when i go up Friday. If you have his cell txt him its pretty much the only way i can get in touch with him right now.

Well i dropped it off on friday so he could finish mine up and was also up there tonight since i left my backpack there.

Keep in mind what i am about to post is my opinion only:

I dont see nick being on this forum much at all if any. The people who have his cell will be able to get a hold of him if not i guess most are contacting him through his website directly. Other than that i dont see him being on here at least and cant speak to much for getting a hold of him.

Not sure what else to say there this is just the way i see it.

Nick probably got sick of getting low balled for tuning on this forum. $150 for a full custom tune is not worth most people's time..

I was gonna get a tune from Nick or Terminator2 a while back. Neither responded until weeks later when I had already gotten a tune from someone else. Not talking crap on either of the guys, but my situation wasn't price or anything like that. I just guess I caught the guys at a busy/vacation time or something.

So those of us who gave up the $250 for tunes now have to shell out more money so someone else can make tweaks for new mods? Kind of a **** thing to do, not a good buisness move honestly.

Some people don't tune for money.. some do it to help the.community. i understand people have shops which im opening up another one soon within the.year I hope after i get another place. So charging 150 technically isnt lowballing if someone can honestly do good work and dont mind doing it foe that price... I mean i went to college and it for auto engineering and tuning so you'd think I would wabt more to atleast repay my schooling back. but i have a soul, so therefore I help others.:....

If you got a tune already then technically he has no obligation to keep tuning it once its done. Thats something he did out of the goodness out of his own heart.

Either way this is just my opinion but a pretty valid one.

A lot of the guys paid but didn't get tuned just a base. Which is why a few are upset. I just hope all is ok with nick and the familia..

I am getting TERMINATOR2 to tune my car next weekend($300). He is not on this forum anymore, but still is tuning. i have his number if someone needs it to speak to him about their car. He is very informative on whats best and what to do. I am just unaware of how his tunes are other than from rep he has on here...

Term2 is a great guy and an accomplished LNF tuner. You will be pleased with David's help.

so who in the NJ area is as good of a tuner as BYT? I am going to need a tune soon, and really dont want to drive a couple hundred miles. We should start a list to help all the people in my same situation.
