i see what you are saying if they tune was actually complete. the tuning process is complete when both the customer and the tuner are happy with the tune. not when the money hits the paypal account. i know 2 people who got f'd by him...one got a base file and thats it...the other got his money taken and thats it...no tune...nothing. he gave nick over a month to respond before filing a paypal dispute.

in my opinion...........that is bad business...period. i completely understand that **** happens and family comes first. but.....when you own a business and you take someone's money for a product or service, you owe that person the product or service that they paid for. if there are so many things getting in the way in his personal life that he cannot tune anymore....fine....i highly doubt anyone is gonna get their panties in a wad about that.....but don't take their money. and if you take their money and realize that you can't do the tune............refund their ****** money

Yea this whole things messed up I understand family is first I agree with that but that's jus screwed up that he jus gets up n leaves like that I mean if your not gonna tune us anymore put it on your website or something so people that have to get **** done aren't waiting months for him to reappear wh he'snot going to. He seemed like a nice guy all the meets and tuning time I saw him but I guess my judge in character is wrong but at the same time there has to be a bigger reason why he jus gets up and leaves so I hope I wasn't a member on here that made him leave or whatever and I hope he and his family is ok and doing well.

I am going back up this sat to Nicks. I will talk to him to see what he whats customers to do. He is definately not clearning his inbox andtime soon and i doubt the shop line will be answered either.

 

yeah, i would like to wait for him since i already have his base tune. not only the money part of it, but no one in this area has the reputation like him. i am willing to wait if he says that there is a time frame.

Yes I'm just offering to help. It's mainly for remote tuning .. because alot of guys here are remotely done...

1. We will not be offering ANY remote tuning services any longer. Things go much smoother when we can see the car and check it out ourselves. Several people had car issues and refused to even look at what we suggested, just wastes times and nobody leaves happy.
2. You will have the option to come to us or have us come to you!... That's right, travel tuning is coming back!!
3. You can also meet at our preferred dyno shop in Pottstown, PA and get a road and dyno tune all in the same day!
4. Our parts lineup will be offered for sale online in Spring as planned. We will also be offering projects again that can be completed in a weekend. So clutches, suspension, exhausts, charge pipes, intakes and very possibly Turbo Kits again!!

Yeah like i said i dont expect him to be on here anymore. He is changing things around to suit him and whats going on in his life.

Most people dont know he works full time and thats his main focus. Then he has his family life to handle as well and does this stuff on the side and mostly weekends.

I have waited a long time myself for my swap with BYT and have waited patiently with a little frustration at times.

Either way this is just the way it is with Nick at this point.

Got my message back from Nick on Facebook and I completely understand him
as you can see from the post above, yea he still does tunes and work on cars. Gotta go through his website for it so if you are in the area of where he lives, Id still recommend him

As for living in FL and switching to him, im sorry that sucks He is going back to basics because I think it got out of control with it being a hobbie and him not having a Life. I fully understand that. He says he got banned too. Im not sure thats true.

 

sucks to hear. I'm pretty close to him and will probably go back once I go TVS and/or E85. He is very hard to get in touch with though, something I wish he'd work on
