Yeah I'm gonna try Sunday or Monday with a 3/8 swivel or joint with and air ratchet and see if I can get it out then. That should work.

I heard that some people have been having luck with disconnecting the turbo/upstream side first, lowering that end, and then disconnecting the downstream side easier.

Otherwise you're going to need a very long extension or maybe some sorta u-jointed tool combination. I'm going to be swapping mine out soon with a catted one, so I've been trying to read up too.

Yeah it's only the top left nut that is stopping me. So it sucks but I'll have to wait.

I know there are some people that have trouble with getting one or more bolts off...is there a way around this or a certain type of tool that you should have to make this easier?

How long? I've heard you have to have a very long one or two to do it that way.

How realistically feasible is it to detach the turbo side first, drop down, and then detach the downstream side? Are there any hangars or anything that would prohibit doing that?

I haven't slid under there to check yet and forgot to look this past weekend when I was under there already.

How much torque should be applied when rebolting it up, we are reusing the same gaskets and bolts correct? I want specification of tools that will be needed so I can go out and buy them. I have a 2ton low profile aluminum race jack and I think I have 4 old stands lying around.

Ok I just e-mailed Dan about my charge of 23.xx$ on my card. Hopefully he will get back to me about the shipping info.

I'm interested in some shipping info myself. I had a charge from them on the 9th... so I guess I'm going to make an estimation assuming that's maybe when it shipped...

It'd be nice to have more info though. Maybe they forgot now that Beth's not there anymore.

With Beth being gone now, ITs a huge hole to fill. I will do my best to get you an update later.

from what ive heard, you may need some long extensions, in excess of 10". other than that its what, 7 nuts i think. and from what i heard it may or may not come with a new gasket for the turbo side but you do reuse the gasket thats already in place where the dp meets the catback.

Hi Joe,
you are correct, it was for shipping of your down-pipe. I have attached an up-dated invoice with the shipping charges. You should have gotten an email from UPS with your tracking number. If not, please check yourt junk folder.

otherwise, it will be there this week.

Thanks again.

Sincerely,
Dan Ferraro

Lightbulb How to Find Your DP:

Do this to find your tracking number and the status of your package (if it's been shipped):

Go here: http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/reference

Enter in the invoice number listed in the original order confirmation E-Mail from Dan in the "shipment reference" blank.

Adjust the date range and the shipment destination info.

Your package status should show up. It'll have the tracking number listed there too, so you can copy/save it and use that to look up the package in the future. Mine's arriving tomorrow I found out.
