And I noticed a debt of $23.92 from Clear Image Automotive. Way to call me and let me know lol. What if I didnt have the money in there? Either way 23$ to ship the pipe, not bad. Can't wait to get it!!!

no i found it useful. but i didnt get charged yet so i guess mine didnt ship yet. did you get a catless? i would assume they would ship first but i ordered a catless and it obviously didnt yet so lol

lil change of topic but how do u plan on passing inspection without a muffler in pa? i know we can just swap the catless dp back to stock for inspection but the muffler delete involves welding...

 

he will just drive slow around the po po. My cousin has a 350z with basically a straight pipe exhaust and he's been fine so far. lol, my sister got a noise violation for just having a aftermarket muffler. If my cousin can get around this strict **** here im sure its fine up there.

 

o yea i get that part but im talking about actually physical inspection in pa which requires a muffler, not to pass emissions but as a piece required for physical inspection.
i mean i could be wrong but im almost positive you need an actual muffler to pass.

not having a muffler is strictly a sound mod on these cars. the muffler has nothing to do with emissions.

yea i get all that. i get that it has nothing to do with emissions and i know mufflers/the delete of the muffler is purely sound related, im just saying i thought pa still required a muffler is all.

 

just got my s/s Catted DP and guys, its what you call quality, i went to install it today since im off work and i have your basic tools, 15mm deep socket but i cannot get the top left nut off due to a tight fit there. so im gonna wait till 5 when my neighbor gets off and give it another go.

 

tells us how it goes!!! wanna know what tools you used exactly!

lol yea. i mean i think the muffler delete sounds good on these cars but i think im just gonna end up with a custom 3" exhaust and a throaty magnaflow or sumthing when i get to it.

 

I honestly think the stock exhaust is pretty amazing, I dont plan on changing it. 2.5" stock is hard to beat. I just gonna throw the DP on and hopefully it will change the tone but not the loudness. I want the car to only be loud under WOT.

 

if anyone on here has installed a DP on our cars yet let us know how it went, i want to know how and what tools they used to get it off let us know.

 

i put a catless downpipe on my car and now want to put one with a cat on it because my car is a PA car and i want to be legal haha. each end of the downpipe is hooked up with just 4 nuts and bolts its real easy and the catless downpipe makes its alot louder but aggresive sounding i like it i just want a cated one. when i get this one from the group by i will be looking to sell my catless one for like $100.00.

 

who made your catless one? why not just swap it back before inspection?
