This looks fun man. Are you doing the motor work too I'm assuming? So honest opinion is the 6262 just a retarded idea for our car... I don't think the spool time would be much worse than the 58/57 would it?

Going from an evo view the 5857 has made 550awhp and the 6262 has made 750awhp. It's a big turbo, the 5857 is still considered a small to mid frame turbo and will spool before a bws256 and it's bigger.

And I am doing the motor work. I am having the crank balanced and having the guy I know who builds 45,000 sprint car motors measure the crank and rods to properly get bearing clearances. I will be doing the rest with the help of a buddie.

Yea it's like a meet evry friday and saturday night throughout the summer. Ussually 50-100 cars all buzzing the ave racing a little. And it's nice because the cops turn there head unless your being real dumb. And 30 is like 5 minutes away. We have our little group but there is alot of rice there as well.

Yeah, good thing he brought that up to your attention when you were deciding against either a 5557 and 6262.

Does it matter?

Its a 6765 with a T4 .81 AR turbine housing and 3 inch downpipe. .70 compressor AR with an HP cover. Not a big turbo by any means.

Ive heard from others that if your considering the 5557 that you might as well go for the 5857. Not much loss in spool and it flows another 6 lbs/min and cost pretty much the same

Virtually no spool up difference because they are the same back half.
