All of this trouble makes me glad I stuck with the old reliable KO4.

In for updates - nice to see some big power in California. Looking forward to the reliable 91 tune and power.

Thanks brotha, will have more updates tomorrow. I should be tightening the wastegate rod some more, or cutting it shorter cause it's not letting me hold my boost. While I'm doing that, I'll check for boost leak as well. I've been real busy these past few weeks and havent had time. Hopefully tomorrow it will be fixed and I can start real tuning.

Thanks a lot bro, really means a lot. I'm hoping I can feel real boost again. It's been over 2 months.

Get a move on it already. You got people waiting. It's not good to keep people waiting.

Glad to see you with a new setup man. Are you getting the work done at the same VW shop you went to before or doing it yourself?

I'm trying brotha. I'm going to go to the shop now and let my **** cool down. Hopefully we can finish this today. I'm sick of waiting to feel serious power.

If he hits 500 with just being fully bolted, I'm buying one next. No doubt.

It's also 2 grand and is slow as hell to spool and by the time it spools its over with. That would blow... I paid quite a bit less for my turbo and it was direct bolt on and spools and pulls fine. It isn't getting me near 500, but near 400 and is perfectly fine with with me. I'll be tracking it this thursday to see if it meets my goals.

Update: Went on Wednesday, found a boost leak from MAF sensor. Going to silicone all those little parts and **** to make sure it's all sealed. Pressurize the pipes again and test. Then going to test it out for a drive, if I'm still not hitting target boost. I guess it's still the wastegate and I'll need to cut the rod shorter and tighten it a lot more. Trial and error sucks, I wish there was just one for sure way to fix this but there isn't. Hopefully today is the last time. I'm going to kill myself if this isn't fixed today.

Thanks bro, lots of crazy hard work. Too bad nothing has paid off.

Update, we plugged one leak then bam anotherone struck. Looks like maybe a cracked MAP sensor, I don't even know anymore. I'm going to order another one. Swap it out. Test for leak again. If that doesn't do it I think I'm just going to give up. I don't even really care anymore. I've gone to the mechanic over 6 times about this dumb ass issue.

^ this, i went on for weeks trying to find a boost leak, so irritating. Its so worth when you fix it. The car is insane now.

What manifold are you running? Check for cracks if its a major leak.

I know, I know lol. I'm just so fed up. I have the TTR intake mani, no leaks form there. There is one leak where we can't seem to find but we hear it. And we put smoke through it. I'm guessing its the lower charge pipe with the relocate. I want to take all those sensors out and silicone them etc.

Pretty sure I got the right O rings. They've been working on my EFR set up, so no reason why it shouldn't work now LOL.
