Not trying to argue just pointing out that all vehicles have some lag or hesitation when you stab the throttle not just turbo cars that is all.

I don't want to start an argument or anything but the TC i drove felt nothing like my SC in the throttle response area. I cant remember how a stock ss/sc was thou. The TC i drove pulled 15psi and to be honest my car feels like it pulls harder. I'm not being biased , cause i still almost bought the TC anyway. If GM had a stage kit out i prolly would have.

I will buy a TC sooner or later , but i'm in no hurry now that they are making a 2010. I'll let you current owner's figure out what will last and what's going to break.

I drove a stock 2007 SC and it felt about the same down low but midrange and topend ( at least until 6k is better on the TC stock for stock. Above 6K the SC pulled a little better IMHO. Lower gear ratio on the SC helps a little in the response area

Seems like some people don't understand the differences between a turbo and supercharger. A supercharger will acheive a small amount of boost off the line. BUT it cannot reach its peak PSI until the crank pulley spins it fast enough. (toward the end of the RPM range.) Depending on engine size, a turbo can acheive peak PSI @ mid - low RPMS. Torque can be made at much lower rpms too. Compare dyno maps Superchargers magnify the power band throughout the entire RPM range. The line 99% of the time looks like / . A turbo dyno usually peaks around the middle. Thats why the cars drive differently. For maximum power and potential though, the turbo will also have the leg up.
