Code P1287

Car is throwing code P1287 from a check engine light scan that I did. I changed the MAF sensor and it did not work. I read it could be low fuel pressure, a vaccum leak, or possibly a cylinder misfire. Any suggestions? The cars air fuel ratio is also jumping around. Even when at idle, the rpms don't move but the air fuel does a good bit and makes the bog sound. Any advice I'd greatly appreciate it. It's a 2009 cobalt ss/tc, I just bought it about a week ago and it has a bunch of mods done to it.

A P1287 is not a maf code, it's for BPV failure. The tan housing on the intake side of the turbo is the bpv, three 10mm bolts to remove it (be careful there is a spring that will pop out), inspect the black piece for damage. If it has a Forge bpv then it likely needs unstuck and greased.

If it's not cracked then check electrical connections to the black solenoid the vacuum line is connected to and the vacuum lines.

Have you performed a boost leak?

The code points to a small boost leak or a tune issue.

So I checked all the vacuum lines and intercooler pipes for a leak, the only place I have one that I found is the flex pipe. Would that make that code go off? And what flex pipe is recommended for a cobalt ss tc?

Also previous owner said it had a demartino fab downpipe and demartino fab cold air intake. Who makes that? I can't find them anywhere online
