Yup that's the sound.....almost as if the piston is gonna come thru the block. At the same time mine just pours out black smoke as much as a diesel.

GM really made a killing on any one having to do any work what so ever to this frigging thing..

Fuel feeder pipe 12615401 also needs replaced along with seals ...

Yet number 12 here

In my manual says to just check threads but replace the other pipe number 10.

Aren't they the same type of fitting . Why would you need to replace the fuel feeder if it's not damaged ?

Isn't the other fitting a "crush" fitting as well? Just an observation ...

I reused my HP fuel pipe twice, then replaced it later. Never read anything about the feed pipe so it got reused also. Unless you really crush down the ferule overtightening it, it should be fine to reuse. It's a liability thing with GM for leaks.

I searched on CED for the seals but only found the LSJ kit. Any one got a link to the LNF kit? I wanna check mine for this issue too as I have been having a false KR prob on and off.

Whatever you do don't oder them from GMPartsDirect.com

Part# 12633374

You will also need the tool....

I ordered 5 kits shipped for 150 from Gmpartsdirect and I ordered a fuel rail pipe and some other things from CED ,

GMPartsdirect sent it to the wrong address , it was shipped out FedEX "Smart Post" In other words Fed EX shipped it to USPS to be shipped to me ..

On top of that its going to take another 8 days to get them ..

word to the wise make sure you either buy a whole new rail with the nylon rings around them or get another injector and a tool and a injector kit before pulling them out ..

Ordered Sunday night CED had a tracking number for me Monday morning had my stuff on Thursday ..

Called CED to see if they could get injector kits and they said they could have them to me by Friday or saturday depending on what shipping method I took DAMNIT , CED is the way to go is what I am saying for cheaper shipping , they were 47.50 at my local dealer. and if I canceled my order a 35% restocking fee with GMPD

Call them and just order them from them if you want em in a timely fashion.

IAMBROKE also sold me a tool big thanks to him and USMCPField sold me a rail with the injectors and wiring harness on it ...Big thanks to him

You also need th intake manifold gasket and GM insists you get the HPFP pipe that goes to the rail replaced at the same time ..

I got a new pipe just because I am pushing a lot of fuel but you could probably get by with out it once or twice just don't over tighten it...

Items needed 17mm wrench and more

Intake Gasket 12589366

HPFP Pipe 12615401

Injector seal kit 12633374

Seal Tool EN-48266

I told you to call Tom @ CED. Is it running yet?

BTW, the seal tool is a Kent-Moore Seal Tool EN-48266 in case anyone needs one.

I still have a fuel rail service tested to 2800 psi, wiring harness , pressure sensor & two injectors (one good, one maybe) if anyone needs them.

Ya, they are pretty slow. They order the stuff and ship it out when they get it. I got burned a few times also. Sorry to hear that. I guess you got the tool ok.

I've ordered from them before and never had a problem but recently now I see they have a 8 day average shipping time ...

How can they possibly think for just a few dollars saved people will put up with the slowest shipping on earth ..

It was only a few more dollars threw others, CED was even cheaper than them but I ordered them on a Sunday night thinking it would be ok ...

GMPD totally fucked us on the senna car. They told me they had the front rebuild kit waiting for the 2 rear calipers to ship it all together. months later I get 2 calipers and no rebuild kit. I email them to ask wtf, days later they tell me that part of my order was cancelled and they are no longer available. What happened to the ones that were sitting there waiting? You sold them to someone else?!?!? Just BS! Wont buy from them again after that.

Sorry for the slightly OT

Yes thanks man I updated the original thread with my findings ..

I sure do want to thank you and USMCPfield for getting me the tool and rail at a SMOKING price....

I have 4 kits available because I thought 1 kits was for 1 injector LOL

35% restocking fee. Ill just sell them on here and pass on the tool to benefit every one..

I was told by Greg @ CED one kit, one injector. Sorry for the misleading info. The rail I bought had white ones on it, so I never ordered a 'kit'.
