i have one and it doesnt need modification to bolt in... but in my case it needed modification of the the end pipes to not cause boost leaks. But it was a very simple fix, just heatiing them up til they are glowing then just adjust accordingly

It drops them to almost ambient except on multiple back to back pulls. It is for sure oversized and will cool as well as most on the market.

BartSS is the only guy I have seen that has an interceptor to prove it.

He has an HHR and he said it hardly ever gets above ambient. PM him if you need proof

My one question and concern about the CrazySteve intercooler is would it effect the radiators efficiency?

Nope not anymore than the stocker. I only see coolant temps above 200 about once a month. Which is more than acceptable. The black plastic piece under the car is still present and directs air upwards over the radiator.

i'm worried about pressure drop cause of too much volume in the IC, but for the price it sounds like a steal,. they should make a slightly smaller one.

A bigger inter-cooler doesn't create a bigger pressure drop. It takes more time to fill, or to bring to pressure, which affect spool.
