u guys are gonna roast me for putting this on the tech section but has anyone noticed your sstc seats falling apart ?? or shall I say looking and feeling like they are 30 years old?

i'm not a heavy guy but my driver seat, when looking at the ss logos from standing in front of car looks crooked. like its leaning to the right towards passenger side!! and whenever i get into car and plop onto seat I hear and feel a clicking in seat like there is a space or some play between the cushion and base. seems like seat is sagging down as well. i'm about 180 lbs so it seems strange.....

wonder if warranty will replace seats or fix them , if you can even do that?

mine are fine and i weigh 250lbs.

 

Your warranty will fully cover this, IF it indeed is messed up.

 

32k miles, ~18 mos old, 195 lb lard ass, no issues here.

 

The bar that locks and unlocks the forward/reverse movement of my passenger seat fell off. That's about the extent of the seat problems I've had.

 

My seats look fine but just because its a SS it has to have race style seats? How do you 250lb guys fit? My buddy who is around that size has his back just hovering over the two pieces that stick out because he is to wide to squeeze in there LOL...

Anyway for long rides these seats suck, I would invest some chedda into a couple nice luxury style seats that don't kill my back.

 

My logos are straight, but I have noticed the bolsters (where that meshish stuff meets) is starting to fray.

 

You and your friend need to invest some chedda in some Weight Watchers.

 

My seat wasn't as bolstedred as the one I test drove and had it covered under warranty
