Ya, I'm from the Bridgeville area...south of Pittsburgh. I have only seen a few SS/TC's around. Making sure everything lines up correctly was the most time consuming for me. Just wanted to get it done right the first time cuz that **** gets hot quick!!

FTMFW! I got my Dejon with Greddy RS put on saturday night. Sounds and looks sexy.

I have the spring upgrade in and with my greddy it sounds like im getting some compressor surge under low boost. I dont see how this is remotely possible though casue I have my greddy set to really soft, and I technically have 2 BOV's untill my Block off plate comes in. Under high boost its one solid blow off. but under 5lb's of pressure it goes psh pshhhhhhh. i dont know if thats the 2 different BOV's opening at different times though. my buddy ahs the same setup with stock spring and he doesnt have this problem. im thinking under low boost and the stiffer spring rate of the stock BPV it opens later. When i get home from work today im gonna switch back to my stock spring and see what happens. If i can find the stock spring that is. Called a local performance shop and they said that as long as its under low boost ill be fine for now. And im quoting now "Youll hear people swear up and down that it will kill your turbo but if your getting a little surge at like 3lb of boost, youll be fine. if you are getting it at 15lb's then youll have a serious problem" he told me to wait till my block off plate comes in and then see what happens.

sounds cool as **** with that little surge though lol. while im normal shifting down the highway it flutters a tiny bit and when i gun it, it screams. im gonna take a vid today

Yah I finally took mine out and put the stock one back in. I had to take the whole intake off because it was blocking one of the screws to the BPV cover. Suprisingly the intake went back on very easy, it lined right back up.

I actually like the sound without the spring better. I like the sound of the intake sucking air without the annoying "chirp" during shifts...that sounded like the car was sick or something. It still sounds great, just not as loud as with the spring, and now I dont get any fluttering like I was getting under light throttle.

my question to everyone that is knowledgeable on this subject is if it will be good/better for my car with tune i recently got my car tuned and my by pass valve spring got stuck and seems to me like it might have a boost leak.... and for all of those that say not too put it on will it still burn up my solenoids if i have a tune? (I'm not putting this **** on for the "sweet" noise that it makes)

If it got stuck maybe you need a new spring or maybe the BPV diaphram is not seated properly that would cause a boost leak too.

After reading this post i went and removed my dejon spring and put the stock one back in...The funny thing was that at idle with the dejon spring in i would hear like a knocking noise under idle...put the stock spring back in and no more knocking noise. Must have been compressor surge or something. My only drawback is that my intake wont stay on tight. The couple dejon gave me just doesn't fit the turbo inlet snug enough and through hard shifts it moves. I ordered a coupler reducer( 2.25x2.75) to see if i can get that to work.

2.25 is kinda small. IIRC the inlet on the turbo is 2-3/8 or so.

As long as you can get it to fit. You might have to lube it up first though.
