dejon spring upgrade question
I purchased two sizes to be certain of fitment.
1. 3"-2.5"
2. 2.75"-2.25"
Both are for the dejon SRI. 2.75"-2.25" fits perfect. Hope that helps.
I had the spring upgrade, but I took it out when I installed the CP w/HKS BOV. I have the Hahn delete plate covering the factory BPV. I was unsure at first how to do the delete plate part. I ended up putting the gray cap/seal back in with only the delete plate. Threw a CEL P2261. Took out the gray cap/seal and just installed the delete plate. Took it for a ride and CEL still on with absolutely no boost. Only one other way left to try. Put the gray cap/seal back on with the stock BPV spring and covered it with the delete plate...same exact setup as stock except the delete plate is in place of the factory plate. Took it for a ride and CEL went away...took a few key turns but went away. BOV absolutely screams under high boost. I went through a tunnel and damn near blew my eardrum out!! I get minor surge only under low boost. Usually in reverse I get a little flutter...but it's under extremely low boost. I don't know if that's normal or not but I don't know any other way to hook it up. If anyone else knows a better way to do the setup with the delete plate. Please advise!

FTMFW! I got my Dejon with Greddy RS put on saturday night. Sounds and looks sexy.
I have the spring upgrade in and with my greddy it sounds like im getting some compressor surge under low boost. I dont see how this is remotely possible though casue I have my greddy set to really soft, and I technically have 2 BOV's untill my Block off plate comes in. Under high boost its one solid blow off. but under 5lb's of pressure it goes psh pshhhhhhh. i dont know if thats the 2 different BOV's opening at different times though. my buddy ahs the same setup with stock spring and he doesnt have this problem. im thinking under low boost and the stiffer spring rate of the stock BPV it opens later. When i get home from work today im gonna switch back to my stock spring and see what happens. If i can find the stock spring that is. Called a local performance shop and they said that as long as its under low boost ill be fine for now. And im quoting now "Youll hear people swear up and down that it will kill your turbo but if your getting a little surge at like 3lb of boost, youll be fine. if you are getting it at 15lb's then youll have a serious problem" he told me to wait till my block off plate comes in and then see what happens.
sounds cool as **** with that little surge though lol. while im normal shifting down the highway it flutters a tiny bit and when i gun it, it screams. im gonna take a vid today
