Direct bolt-on turbo (ko4 replacement)
True, dyno's are just a tuning tool. For me, on a dyno dynamics I like to see gains, that way I know the tuning is actually working. Gains is what I focus on from a previous run.

exactly...390+30= 420whp, so i dont know how i was misleading???
i wont say a word anymore till i get the turbo, or a cobalt guy posts a graph about it on their car...
does an s252 give those power numbers efficiently?

From what I read, hell yea a S256 should be well in its efficiency range.

40rty, why are you trying to sell me on another turbo? do you not like your wr-2?
you dont need an external gate for the bnr
and more then likely he's trying to sell you on it .. because it's the cheapest route and it will get 97% of the people where they want to be but for some reason people dont want to go with it

Did you buy the turbo yet or you still considering it?
I'm holding out until I get ZFR's official price. The thing that worries me about ZFR is tranny problems. So there's a good chance I'll just stick with WR-2 and shoot for 22psi or so to make around 340-370whp on 91 octane (that's all that's available at 5800ft

I too am interested in the WR-2, I won't buy a turbo unless it's direct bolt on. The fact that it's direct bolt on and doesn't have the back end problems my K04+ does makes me erect!

I'm leaning more towards the WR-2, but ZFR is looking good too. If the ZFR is indeed under $2000 then it's gonna be a tough call.
Anything above $2000 without a doubt it's WR-2, and well it would depend on finances too. K04+ is good, but a small upgrade to say the least
Could have been said already, but the PWERKS WR-2. what company is the exhaust housing and compressor from?
all it says on there website is
"51mm leading edge technology billet aluminum compressor wheel
56.5mm exhaust turbine wheel
Internal WG actuator included"

However if its over 2000 dollars then you have to decide what the extra horsepower/better quality turbo is worth to you.
