You don't have to run a bov or external waste-gate for the wr-2. If you already have a forge bpv then you can subtract 160 from the price of the turbo as well because that's all that's needed. It will bolt up to your stock manifold and downpipe.

Me too.

I have until the end of the year to decide since that's when I plan to do a turbo swap. If the ZFR isn't out by then I'll do the WR-2.

Ahem... W-2 is a tax form. The turbo is the WR-2.

ive been looking at the hahn super 20g some more, and thats pretty good power for very cheap, and its a direct bolt-on as well. i know its old technology, but its still a good turbo...James used it and liked it...

Does anyone know what the WR-2's spool time is? Just trying to compare it to the EFR.

I believe the Pwerks and Precision upgrade are the same. When I was working with Pwerks they sent me one with a little shaft play (turns out it was normal until oil gets in there and centers it out) but all Pwerks did is tell me to talk with Precision.

It won't compare to the EFR in anything but availability.

450 capable , kinda weak for 2k+ , ZFR will be well worth the wait as long as is actually does come out ,Id rather pay 2500 for a ZFR vs that wr-2 any day , its a basic bare bones turbo spool time and drive ability would not be very enjoyable. I would love to see some tests on e85..

Don't see why they wouldn't opt for a bunch of us to test them for them at cost for the purpose of advertising and proof in the pudding.

If you got 2000 dollars laying around I would say go get a BNR and e85 if you can and call it a day until you are ready for the next level of turbos , like a big efr.

Transmissions blowing out should be the least of any ones concern. A set of tires is about the same price as a trans . And thats just medium grade tires. LOL

yes but its a lot of work. lol. i had to drop my trans twice in a week and hated it.

honestly the BNR will give you guys the power levels you want, and when you get tired of that, get a big boy turbo. The ZFR is nice but when i get another turbo upgrade its going to be a gtx and/or something bigger.
