No, because the e85 does not hit the intake valves.

I installed a vacuum tee in the vacuum line right on top of the intake manifold then ran a line off of that. Keep your finger over the line when not sucking in the seafoam and do a lil at a time. I recommend using a clear glass like I mentioned before so you can watch what you are doing. You DON'T want to suck it in quickly or stall out the car IMO. It should take 3-5 mins to suck in 1/3 of the bottle of Seafoam. Let it idle for another 30-60 seconds after and then shut the car off and wait 10 mins. Start it up, idle it for a min then drive normal for a few mins or until the smoke clears up. It will smoke A LOT LOT LOT LOT LOT lol.. This is normal, don't be alarmed. If you Youtube Seafoam you will find some examples of "the show" lol.
Exactly what I was looking for, I seafoamed my car a week ago, and it threw a 2nd cylinder misfire code right after. The car ran just like it did before, after I started it back up and smoked it out. The car actually ran better after the seafoaming with Misfire CEL. I'll be changing the spark plugs soon!

Yea, its usually a good idea to change your spark plugs and oil after a sea foam treatment.

Nope same issue. No fuel over the valves.

Since the evap purge valve sits in the intake manifold, couldn't we use this as a means of introducing cleaning fluids to the intake tracts and valves as well?

Intake manifold *

Technically you could T off the vacuum line on the manifold and have a bottle that released a little but I think sticking to periodic use is best.

Yes, the manifold thanks.

I'm not talking about consistent usage. Instead of using a vacuum line, why not just slowly feed through the evap solenoid? Both accomplish the same thing but one seems that it might be a bit easier?

hmm i installed my phenolic spacer at about 70k on my lsj, (pics in my thread) intake valves look brand new also only use top tier detergent gasolines as well because that can contribute to yalls issue. And hands down if ANY lnf is tuned they should have a catch can installed. Hell im doing my TVS and will have one on my car

Type of gas has almost nothing to do with this. Again, Direct Injection

Yes. A lot of new engines from most OEM'S are direct injection now.

Yes, LSJ's will not have these issues. Only LNF and other direct injected cars.
