dry shot nitrous on lnf

i am thinking about running a 75 shot (dry) with meth.i havnt seen a lot of lnfs try it. with methanol i shouldnt have to much of a problam with detonation. is running the nitrous through the maf a good idea with the turbo? i know 90% of everyone is scared of nitrous, so am i with my tune i am gonna data log when it warms up a bit to see how my spark and fuel trims are.

Do you understand how a Dry kit works? We don't have the ability to raise fuel pressure to address the fueling.

AND if you ran the proper Wet kit, I still wouldnt do it. You can make more then enough power without Nitrous anyway...

Wouldn't the ecm dump more fuel if it would notice a lean mixture? Huge ass-umption but wouldn't it follow the commanded afr no matter what?

It will add fuel but not fast enough to prevent lots of lean knock. You need a tune especially if you are trying run a dry shot. A/F needs to be richer than normal and timing needs to be conservative to prevent engine damaging knock.
It will add more fuel in some normal cases. For example, if someone is on 15% ethanol gas vs the less than 10% stuff. I have seen +14 STFT (-6 LTFT) from an airbox mod and 15% ethanol gasoline. My car with the same airbox mod and less than 10% ethanol was seeing +9 STFT and -5 LTFT.

Not on command tho, like when the nitrous is activated. It would be hard coded to a set amount. I guess he could have Vince make one of the selectable tunes a nitrous tune tho. That is doable.

But again, you can make more then enough power without it, so why chance it?

He could set it up so that you use an unused pin on the ECM to select the nitrous tune. You would then wire your arming switch to that pin in the ECM and thus, you have a nitrous tune only while spraying.

If you add meth to go with the nitrous, then it's not a dry shot.

It would srtaighten out the a/f ratio eventually, but its not quick enough to be safe.

He found an un-used input on the ECM that could be used to change fuel for a nitrous shot.
Edit- I guess that was already said...

Either way, nitrous could work very well on the LNF, but I would prefer a wet kit.
