E85, conflicting information
Ok, so I have a 2010 SS mostly stock, currently just an intake and a tune. I have HP Tuners but haven't actually done a tune myself yet. I have the 3bar map sensors to go on. Will also be adding a catless downpipe since I have a bad 02 sensor, seems like a good time to do it.
On to the questions, I've been looking at switching to full E85, and have been finding mostly old threads about how to do it from 5th injector (some aren't a big fan) to cam and larger injectors. Also some mention of needing the higher volume fuel pump. I know the 2010 injector seals should be good for E85.
So, what is the current recommended method to convert? Not really interested in the E47 as hopefully I can find consistent E85. I plan on sticking with the stock turbo and I DD the car.

If you dd the car I would highly recommend e47 as you will burn through a ton of e85. E85 consumes 33% more than straight premium. E47 only 13%. On a stock turbo there are negligible gains on full e verses e47. That said, using a boost ramp, most have been able to run full e on a stock turbo. On e47 there is no issue and your injector seals should be ok.

Most do, and some fill up 5gal tanks and test at home. You can also go to Science and Surplus and grab a glass 100ml graduated cylinder for $6 and achieve the same thing as the $10-20 "E85" tester.

Everyone is so over **** on ethanol content, anything over about e30 nets limited timing gain on an LNF/LDK. So sit at 22* and watch your fuel trims after tuning on a tested e47 (have the maf dialed in on pump first). Shifts in LTFT can be directly related to ethanol content. Hell I ran almost a year on e47 without testing, and even used unleaded not premium and have 0* KR when running 22* of timing on 23psi (25psi here in CO), just did a back calc based on fuel range and mpg less the total tank volume and put equal amounts of e85 and gas.
