I'm driving home on a 4 lane road when a 09 Jeep Cherokee pulls up and starts revving and lurching forward. As we pull up to a light I notice It's a 5.7 Hemi Jeep. I Laugh to my friend as the light turns red and we both stop. I reach up to push the Comp Mode on and wait....... The other light turns yellow and I bring it up to 2000 rpm's and hold it..... Green light turns and we both jump out he gets about a fender on me because I blew the launch. I NLS to second and pull back 3/4 car on him, and start walking when I hit 3rd I really run away from him, I shut down about 75 with about 2 buses on him. At the next light He looks over and laughed and gives the thumbs up. as he pulls off I notice the dealer plates on the back. It was a fun easy kill.

I like to tell people about other stupid people. It's like the time I KILLED a civic si from a roll Sure is was just a civic but it was fun! LOL

Is there a 5.7 Hemi Jeep that is not the SRT8? Because SRT8 Jeeps are AWD, launch better, and would beat any stock Cobalt.

 

srt 8 jeeps run 13.2 stock. The 5.7 ones are not fast

 

Yes I have seen the SRT-8 jeep. I would have known better than to mess with it. At least from a stop....
