EFR ready for install!!
well im doing some data logging later today when i get outa work so hopefully ill get a tune sometime tomorro and then ill have some videos up for u guys and then hit up the dyno on Saturday. And man this turbo sounds great wen its spooling up lol, ohh and i wanna thank dart si for helping with a issue i had boosting !!!
Well im sure you know that the stock turbo has 2 nipples on it, one to the compressor and the other one looks like it connects to the inlet pipe of the turbo, and the factory boost control solenoid was connected to thos 2 plus the wastegate, so since the efr only had 1 nipple i didnt know what function the other one had so i connected it too vacuum like a ******* and i wasnt boosting past 7 to 8 psi lol But ik dart si had the same thing happen so i pm'ed fast and he told me i can just leave that one vented..
quick question matt im getting tuned by trifecta "for now" and vince is saying that i can run the car without a tune and datalog it... Is that true? couse i thought that if you have a bigger turbo and run the same boost, the turbo will supply more air and the car will run lean... i dont wanna data log it and have something happen to my car you know

no he hasnt got back to me yet.. i still havent installed the hks tho couse i needed to order another flange. but i am going to be using it couse i am getting compressor surge.... wen i get home ill get my brother to take a ride with me to record so you guys can hear

no i have an older 88 mitsubishi starion that i built a couple years ago and i had that one laying around... so after hearing the compressor surge it might be a good idea to put that on... or i just might buy the forged bpv... Dame lol Now i dont know what to do hahaha.... Any input on this?
ok thanks couse i just got a cel saying bank 1 was running lean. The car soon after felt slow and was boosting to 19 but was going up to 19 slowly.... thats also y i asked..But ok i feel better now i just wanted some reassurance.
lmao funny story lol i was racing a built talon and i won and my drunk cousin pushes the button so hard couse he was so excited that it goes right thru lmao...... worst part was that it stayed on all night till i got home and got a pen to turn it off haha..
i hooked it up the same way it was in the stock turbo... bpv to some solenoid/sensor thats located on the intake mani. any suggestions?
