Just heard of this company on a camaro forum. I think they just started but they have a cool product. Way pricey!!! but it's a cool idea.

http://shop.noweeds.net/main.sc;jses...2.qscstrfrnt02

It's a very high quality exhaust "diverter". basicly an exhaust cutout except when one side opens, the other side closes. This forces all the exhaust gases out of the cutout.

It's also cool because any mix in between can be used. 50/50 90/10 etc.

Probably not any better than a normal cutout but it's still kinda cool.

Just a thought but couldn't someone build a DP with an integral cutout/y-pipe as close to the turbo as possible to bypass the cat-not sure how CIA's option is set up.

dude if you have a welder, know how to weld, and have some exhaust piping this is a no brainer. and if you're building your own dp you could just move the cat while you're hacking things up.

I wish. And I realize these vendors can't be making one- off stainless DP's.Then there's probably clearance issues,cat/sensor placement issues, cost concerns, etc. My goal is to stay relatively(emissions) legal with a cut-out @ my disposal- I guess I'm wondering if bypassing resonators/mufflers only would result in significant gains other than noise.

Nope, sorry, but our cutout is before the cat. This makes it the only option on the market that has a cutout and cat all in one Dp

Go to e-bay. You can find the e-cutouts there for pretty cheap from the same company's with the 3-4 year warranty.
