Engine idle rough
Hello all, dealing with some issues on my 2009 Cobalt SS TC. Engine: 2.0 LNF. My technical know how is fairly low and I thought I’d reach out to this community.
I got got the car with a blown head gasket, motor was redone by a friend. I received the car back and it was idling rough, mechanic said it was probably a few sensors. Ran my code scanner and it hit me back with 3 codes
P0016: Changed the CPS sensor and cleared the code but it came back.
P0089: Considering replacing HPFP
P0098: IAT2 circuit high input
Thought I’d reach out to you guys before taking the car in to the mechanic. Any advice would be appreciated!

That p0089 is enough to **** things up. The high pressure pumps are known to be an issue. They either go bad and leave you sit or they leak internally and load up the crankcase with fuel and cause all sorts of problems
