Is your downpipe catless or catted?

 

everything in PA depends on what county you are in, i'm in Northampton and i need emissions while my buddy up in Monroe doesn't need emissions and he's straight-piped.

supposedly this is what you need to follow...

so that sounds to me like they to make sure there's no codes and do a gas cap check and that's it, don't quote me on that thou

 

i got the zzp catted downpipe and just ordered the exhaust without the resenator from zzp is there any gains in power with that also

 

You should pass if you have catted.

Personally I'd get a res. my buddy has that exhaust without the res and sounds like a farm tractor I'm not a big fan. My turboxs has a little baby res and it forsure made it sounds deeper and meanier

 

how do you get a res for it if you already ordered it

 

Gotta take it to an exhaust shop and have one welded in. My car doesn't have a resonator and it sounds fine

This all depends one what engine you have. I have an LNF with turbo xs fl and turbo xs catless down pipe sounds great to me. I've heard some cobalts that sound like **** tho, I have no idea what they did to the exhaust.

 

In PA, u do not need a resonator to pass, but u need a cat for sure.
