Why did you remove yours? Any problems or did you just get a full intake instead?

EDIT: hope it works! (I've heard talk about the elbow collapsing... ?) I just ordered the parts!

 

Had it installed with stock snorkle/filter/tune and was getting a slight hesitation @ low rpm(just off idle). Not sure if it was trying to collapse but I'm inclined to believe Matt/ZZP when they indicate more power is available with certain airbox configuration/tuning.
Back to stock for now until more is known.

does anyone know of anywhere else to get a AEM hose? part # 5-6821, Summit is backordered AGAIN... both times i've had money ready to order its been on backorder with a month out being when its expected to be in... you would think someone else would be able to get it

Just buy a used AEM intake off of a member. It may cost you a few bucks more, but I am sure someone on here would sell you one for 200 shipped, or less.

mine will be up for sale in the next 2 weeks. SSfamilywagon will be pulling it off since I am in the stan. 120.00 shipped.

will be going a different direction with my setup. And this will be a plug and play setup with no need to source out the peice for the PCV hose

 

Not the snorkel mod... unless they specifically dig in that area.
It wouldn't take much digging but honestly I doubt they'd even say anything really. At first glance they won't notice.

 

Just did this last weekend, not a huge noticeable difference in anything really, but I can say I did something! LOL I used a drywall screw to hold the pieces together btw

I just did this Mod to mine, but i took the snorkle out and left it off the turbo seems louder now and also i can here the recirc a lot louder. Car seems to pull a little better i also have the K&N air filter.

 

you want the venturi from the snorkel it's better
