first ss t/c with cams
local shop forced induction motor sports told me he can send out my cams and some place will gring them down or really not sure what they would do to them, but pretty much make the cams to add alot of horse. he said ill most likely be the first with them for the t/c. any opionons
thats a good point but if the cams flow better, than the turbo will flow better as well. The turbo is has a spool limit but is also limited by the cams that feed the air into engine.
Theoretically if you get better flowing cams then you should be able to have a free-er flowing turbo and a better flowing turbo until the spool limits the air flow. So I fore see a power increase in the mid-high rpms. maybe more power after 5100rpms, thats would rock.

THe turbo will ONLY flow so much air.... so doing these cams won't do ****. THe cams are NOT our cars problem...
The head is our problem... so your going to be trying to CRAM 10lbs of **** into a 4lb bag.... good luck with that!

I agree that it seems like the turbo and head need to be worked over first in order for this to be an effective upgrade, but interesting to hear about nonetheless....keep us posted.
Theres someone on the lnf-performance forum trying to cams too.. I agree though, not until the fueling tables are unlocked, you have a upgraded turbo and new head will you need cams. which is what well over 450whp and up.
I have a contact for LMR performance here who does their CNC work. He ported my LS6 heads when I had my LSX, did incredible work and provided me all the flow benchmarks as well. It would be cool to have him take a stab at the LNF head.
