Forge bpv or bov?

I'm assuming a bov renders the bpv useless?
Any opinions on which way to go? Upgraded
Bpv or a bov?

Does a bov slow u down?

I know a bov vents boost pressure and makes some cool noises but that's about all I know

I was looking at getting the treadstone charge piping with the turbosmart race port bov,
Any one have it? Reviews?

i was in the same boat as you are now, until people told me that the bov just causes problems plus you have to tune it. Im going with the forge bpv people said if you put a intake with forge bpv and it sound almost as loud as a bov

bov = more money and more problems

go bpv! cheaper, easier to install, and works well on our cars.......

if you have the AEM cold air intake for the TC, it really brings out the sound of the stock BOV, making it easier just to do a BPV...but make sure you do a oil catch can too

If you want the sound of a BOV, you need a BOV. It'll cost you upwards of 800 bucks, though, for piping, MAF relocation piping, a MAF extension cable, a good BOV, and tuning for MAF relocation.

MAF relocation not needed. You can simply recirc it. Also, you can vent to atmosphere just fine without a maf relocate or recirculating it, you just get annoying rich spikes. Its most annoying with cruise control going over hills.

I gotta get a bov for my bnr turbo

Not really. Greddy bovs sound great, just a rush of air, that's it. Plus if you upgrade your Turbo you're going to need one. I don't think that's ricey at all if its a necessity.

At least one tow hook is needed on tracks out here in California.

OP- honestly, coming from a guy who has a BOV, the exact combo you are asking about, get a forged or stay stock. You can still get the treadstone stuff. It flows really well, like freakishly well, honestly so that is why I recommend it. If you want more sound go forged. I'm going to be turbo swapping eventually so that is why I am running a BOV right now.

I think a BOV is better if you ever plan on upgrading turbo's. I am planning on it, but now that I went Forge, I have to buy new parts. Unless ZZP's comes out soon, but I'm worried about it. I keep hearing that EFR's are exrtremely unreliable
