forge BPV problem/turbo flutter??

so just got my BPV in the mail and installed. I love it sounds amazing!! PROBLEM IS my first initial drive from when it hasn't been ran or random spurts of drivin it makes a whipple kind of noise and I can't tell if it's turbo flutter or not? any ideas?? it's usually around 3K RPM or so not to sure how much boost when it makes the noise. I've tried both springs. does it most with the yellow I'm tuned running 22PSI. thanks guys!!

The valve has a flat spot on one of the three sides. Which way is it mounted? Mine installed with flat spot pointing down towards front of car. I experience minimal "flutter" in certain conditions.

Basically when you installed it, does the opening face down? When the piston compresses which way will the air try to escape? up or down. Simple way to figure that out is take the thing off and psuh the piston in and see which way it opens up. You probably have it upside down.

I wouldn't use the yellow spring.

But like everyone says, opening down.

pfffff, you didnt hook up that vac line did you. The recirculation occurs within the turbo. If you take out that BPV and look you will see the compressor housing is channeled back into the turbo inlet. The BPV acts as the door for that to happen.
