FTW-k04R vs ZFR In need of turbo swap!!
Ran a 4.64 second 60-100 with my modded airbox/zzp intake tube - 19* timing, 23lbs of boost, .88 lambda, 81*F ambient temps. Very mild calibration but it's getting warmer and I'm erring on the side of caution
Will report back on my K&N SRI 60-100 time as soon as the MAF recalibration is complete. Hoping to be in the low 4.5 second range as I picked up quite a bit of power based on V-dyno logs, in warmer weather! Showing less VE and MAF flow too

Nice i wish I could of gotten the results but my car is taking the timing and boost like a bitch. Does great and when we are almost done kr on the top end
Got my car all tore down this weekend. Pulled out the trans, IM, injectors, stock turbo, and had enough time to mount the R. That thing is sweet. I hope it performs as well as it appears.
Note... That pcv plug that bolts onto compressor housing inlet obstructs airflow slightly with the R because the inlet is machined much wider. So I went ahead and machined the plug so it mounted flush with inner wall of the compressor inlet. Sorry guys I should've taken a picture but I was trying to get it done.

Yea, there is plenty of extra material on that end of the plug so it just made sense.
Also got some new couplers and vac line on the way from treadstone. For the the turbo swap, i used the parts list detailed earlier in this thread except I also bought new crush gasket for both ends of 02 housing. I wish I would've gotten one more of the oil/coolant line gaskets though. I bought 3, could've used 4 since I decided to remove all the lines to check for any build up and/or flow restrictions.

Heading to get dyno tuned today. Hopefully clutch doesn't slip. Didn't have time to break it in much. Brand new ky stg3 6 pick with stg 4 pressure plate and new flywheel.
BTW, this turbo is definitely louder.

I'm not running alot of boost for the same reason that I've never been able to finish off the tune. Always had the first pull clean of kr then after that any pull will have kr
