It got exactly what it needed!! Shaun sent me a log of the rakes car i compared times so I know what's gonna happen

 

Well...... Some u know I already had to send turbo back to turbobay because it was leaking oil past the seals. Apparently I got metal flakes in the turbo which chewed up the shaft. Shitty. Just my luck. Turbo will be back in my hands in less than a week. Heading to 1/4 immediately. 11s or bust!

 

Did some 60kmh pulls with my camera on head but it died. He got me by about 2 cars both times works way better with the meth. Nice big flame in my face too lol

All I can say about the R on e47 is wow! Kevin's doing a great job tuning it.

 

I feel like if I went 6758 on 91 Shaun would still likely pull me

 

It prob would be close I tried EVERYTHING to get more hp out of that thing on 91 just couldn't do it and keep it safe. Meth is a game changer I technically don't need it running the E I will be but I like that it cools the intake charge before it hits the cyl and that it helps my fueling up top

 

Ethanol ftw. Starting to see more potency in my area. Recently tested pump E85 at 93%

I don't know why you think that your in the 20s basically 10° more than what Shaun was running on 91

 

Still feels slow haha and I don't think we ever finished a tune since my car would start to knock close to finishing the tunes

 

Maybe you miss the hard hitting torque of your k04 lol.

can you not make as much tq on an R? Or are you referring to the 200rpm slower spool

 

What about the spool of a 71 on a fully built 2.1 high compression with gapless rings??

 

It feels a little different but pulls hard up top.

Ya the spool is a bit slower but I think its smoother which is nice. With a slower spooling turbo it'll take the crazy boost spike away so a peak tq number it wont hit as high but overall I'd say the tq is the same the R just holds it longer in the revs

Better traction in 2nd. I like it. Well worth the money I paid.

 

Whats traction? Upgrade CABs run R compounds and air bag the rear you'll be fine
