Fuel Gauge Not working

SO I'm having some very strange problems with my car. At first it started happening randomly, my fuel gauge would drop to zero and the low fuel message would show up. Even though I had damn near a full tank. Now my fuel gauge doesn't work at all and whenever the tank gets to half way full (It happens after 6 gallons has been burned) the fuel pressure will drop to 72 and the car will hesitate hard. It starts in first gear, then slowly starts to happen in second then it happen in all gear more and more until I fill up again. Once I burn 6 gallons this starts to happen very quickly. By the time I get to 7 the car is barely drive-able anymore. But If the tank is full is drives as if nothing is wrong. I thought it was just my fuel level sender but I think that it may be something a bit worse. BTW I got the fuel pump replaced about 60,000 miles/ a year ago. I only use 93 from BP, Exxon, or Shell but I have using Valero gas lately. Any suggestions?
