info@kyclutch.com

I'm talking with them right now about a Stage 3. Are the issues that you guys are having the fault of the clutch or just the install? I'm a transmission tard, I've never worked on them. They intimidate me,

Main reason for slave cylinder fails are either a mtg defect or they werent installed properly. Yes ky clutch will help with part. I am thee test car basically lol. They're throwout bearings are purchased straight from the company.that makes them for gm.

And another thing the only other clutch kit that gives u a throwout bearing in there kit is gm and I don't think anyone else.

Oh ok, thanks!

What else do I need to do the job? I going to take it to Powells and he suggested a new Clutch Pipe and Fly Wheel bolts if it needed to come off and be machined. Anything else I need to know? What about the ZZP adjustment rod, would that be necessary?

The clutch rod is b.s.... I used it and took it out because it was causing to many issues. Master and slave.issues. people recommend the tube because when people install the clutch they tend.to break them. do you need it? Nope. I've changed close to 60-70+ clutches and not once broke one or had.issues.with it.

Well, I'll buy one just incase and return it if need be. I'd rather have it and not need it than be stuck without one.

Has anybody test the Stage 3 KY clutch with NLS? Is it user friendly with the NLS? I'm consider this as a future buy.

You don't want to NLS with a clutch that grips harder than stock, or if you are tuned. Think about it, if the clutch is no longer going to be the weak point and slip, whats the next thing in line to break? Transmission...

Not trying to sound cocky, but I've been running with this clutch since about September and if you just practice your shifts, you can do it without losing boost, but not NLS. You gotta be real quick, but it's doable. I need a second person in my car to take a video. Volunteers ?

We ship them out fast! Sooner you order the sooner it will appear on your doorstep.

Dont wait until it is to late, better to have it sitting in a closet than in the mail...

Anyone tried stage 2? Stage 3 useless to me. I need one that lets me keep NLS safely. NLS is worth more on a track. No plans to ever upgrade the turbo. Too much power for FWD already.

I have tested these out at the Tq specs are given out to show what they can hold so going with a stage two is honestly the wrong route. It may hold for a.Lil while but not long.

Also frogstofall and his buddy did the work. i made the how to but he added to it damn him haha

It's all the picture taking, slows things down, that and those damn torx bits lol. We went kinda slow too, weren't in a huge rush.

I had my trans out 3x due to those slave cylinders, I have no idea how I did it myself lol.

James' Engrish was so good, I had to change around a lot of the sentence structure and wording so we could all understand it!
