To get KY clutch or not
The guy from Exedy also told me that the stock lnf clutch is rated to 175ft-lbs....I posted a thread containing our email conversation in here somewhere a couple months back. When I do my upgrades, I am going to use KY....lmao
thats retarded, how could he possibly think that info was correct?

I just called them and he said they won't have any until the first of may. 375 for the 6puck and $30-40 to ship to canada. Not bad at all....I found my new clutch....just gotta wait lol.
After reading through this thread and spending some time checking things out in other internet places, I'm probably going to go with the Stage 3 Kentucky Clutch for my rig. According to Chris, who is a helpful guy, the Stage 3 will be able to easily handle my level of power (standard Hahn Stage 5 turbo system). I'm not putting down quite the HP or torque that some of you guys are, so I think I would be overspending with a lot of these more race-oriented clutches that seem to be going for $800-$1200. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks, again, for all of the information and discussion.

It grabs pretty quick/semi abruptly. Forget trying to slip it. Its not stock feeling but not too far off. Pedal feel is still rather light. And I think they said its rated 600tq if i remember correctly.
What blew up? Been following this thread since I'll be getting a clutch next spring.. maybe sooner Idk yet. The KY sounds good, and it's cheap like borsche.. but did 2 blow up or are you referring to another 6-puck clutch type?
I doubt they blew up considering I've talked with Chris and only issues he's has was.people who have installed there clutches wrong and ones who hot kevlar it was my holding past 380 ft lbs and one bad pressure plate. I haven't blown one up and im sure i have more power then anyone else with one.

still wasn't driveable.....
lmao, I in no way meant that the clutch is a pos or anything. Jacblack had the pressure plate issue and Kyle had a slave cylinder blow and ruined his clutch
