Yea I would believe 175 ft lbs for the stock lsj clutch LOL. I've got the gmpp upgraded clutch for the lsj which is basically the lnf clutch, rated at 300 ft lbs.

After reading through this thread and spending some time checking things out in other internet places, I'm probably going to go with the Stage 3 Kentucky Clutch for my rig. According to Chris, who is a helpful guy, the Stage 3 will be able to easily handle my level of power (standard Hahn Stage 5 turbo system). I'm not putting down quite the HP or torque that some of you guys are, so I think I would be overspending with a lot of these more race-oriented clutches that seem to be going for $800-$1200. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks, again, for all of the information and discussion.

What power level is the 6 puck good to? Does it have stock feel or is it one of those on/off style ones?

It grabs pretty quick/semi abruptly. Forget trying to slip it. Its not stock feeling but not too far off. Pedal feel is still rather light. And I think they said its rated 600tq if i remember correctly.

What blew up? Been following this thread since I'll be getting a clutch next spring.. maybe sooner Idk yet. The KY sounds good, and it's cheap like borsche.. but did 2 blow up or are you referring to another 6-puck clutch type?

I doubt they blew up considering I've talked with Chris and only issues he's has was.people who have installed there clutches wrong and ones who hot kevlar it was my holding past 380 ft lbs and one bad pressure plate. I haven't blown one up and im sure i have more power then anyone else with one.

lmao, I in no way meant that the clutch is a pos or anything. Jacblack had the pressure plate issue and Kyle had a slave cylinder blow and ruined his clutch

When u first do your fluid, if you get fluid in Ure bell housing your gonna leak fluid. Drive the car for a few days.and if u lose fluid then , check it out.
