GM Stage 1 Issues !!

SO i just got my GM stage one kit installed yesterday. And I love the extra power and torque. But im having two issues already. One , every time I go wot in second gear my tires break loose and spin the rest of 2nd. Secondly , that purge valve solenoid on the intake mani keeps blowing the line off everytime I go wot. It looks to me like the clip that holds it on is all bent and twisted. Its pretty loose and isnt holding . So I may have to zip tie it. Does that sound ok to do ? Other then that. I love the extra grunt and pick up !

Anyone else ever try to replace the clip in the purge solenoid line.? It seems to be part of the line? But I can't tell totally.

Did you install it yourself or did you have a dealer/mechanic do that for you? If latter, take it back and have them fix it... If not, be careful with plastic zip ties so close to the manifold. trim the ends if you do unless you like the smell of melted plastic.

X2 on that ^^ lol and you need to learn to feather your car through second gear... Spinning is normal.. What I do is when I slam second I seem to spin then I catch.. Then I start to spin again... To keep my self from spinning the second time I let off the gas 25% and then hammer it again real fast... Lots of practice but you will get faster at it!

Oh, was thinking of a diff sensor then right next to the exhaust manifold. I stand corrected.

If the dealer is at fault and broke the clip then its their bad. If you caused it, then just replace it with a piece of hose, that is what I did when I installed the blower on my 2.4. I figure it has the same style of barb on each end, correct me if i'm wrong, so you should be able to put some vacuume hose in there.

Breaking loose is pretty common I'd say, it happened to me on gms1 and it happens to me on trifecta, good tires are your best friend!

i have GMS1 and only on cooler days (50-65 degrees) i can spin in 2nd gear.

i have kumho ecsta's. they grip and rip,not the best tires but they were brand new when i bought my cobalt.
