I actually owned some stock in this co and checked the oil out. It's good stuff..BIO 100%. Very good #s on specs too.
Pour point, viscosity and flash point all look very good here:

its probably just made of natural sources like whale blubber. LOL they used to make oil like that back in the day. till they found oil coming out of the ground which was cheaper.

i wouldnt use royal purple, a few years back when it was all the rage and sponsored everything a 3rd party company was hired to test amsoil vs mobil 1 vs royal purple vs Elf and a few others and royal purple came up at the bottom of the list for sheering. It was a little scary honestly.

Apologies... should have been more specific.

AMSoil or shell rotella synthetic - 6.5liter turbo diesel suburban
Mobil1 - balt
RP - dirtbikes in dritbikes, I get it cheap and I just don't care, I can rip a bike down and put it back together in a day.

Are the specs comparative to dino oil or synthetic?

To the OP I would stay away from it if you like your waranty unless that stuff meets the GM High Performance Oil Spec lol.

It's really a synthetic and being a BIOSYN it shouldn't have the deposits on the valves with DI as other oils. I was really thinking of switching to this oil and still may do so.
It does not have the latest GM CERT though....that doesn't mean it does MEET that standard, just that they haven't gotten it yet. That is something to consider, but it does meet ASE *SM* which should be good enough.

gm like JUST came out with the new standard dexos or whatever it is. most top of the line oils alrdy meet it, just dont have the cert. it just came out this month, so by next month most oils should be certified to the new standard
