Still getting knock...

Some people might remember me posting about getting knock randomly and mostly on tip in with my TC on my trifecta and stock tune and I now I get it everywhere... Vince still claims there is nothing wrong with my tune and I've tried regapping my plugs, switching to one step colder plugs, verifying coil packs, ect... and I always fill with 93 or 94 octane. Nothing has worked thus far and I have no idea what the issue is.

There is no rhyme or reason as to how the knock appears, it dominantly appears under load (of course) but It started today occuring on both my GMS1 tune and the Trifecta tune, randomly seeing as high as 4.8* of KR but more commonly 0.7* to 2.7* when it is there and this occurs at WOT but it even occurs at cruising speed an even sometimes under a small amount of throttle.

I have no idea what to do about this anymore. If anybody can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it, if not the car is either getting traded in or is getting put back to stock and sold.

Thanks in advance for not commenting 'get dyno tuned' or 'shouldn't have tuned your car in the first place.

I'll add that when at WOT the KR* can be maintained until I let off the trottle or will appear momentarily and disappear while still at WOT. It usually follows a 0.0*, 0.7*, 1.4*, 2.7*, 1.4*. 0.7*, 0.0* pattern when at WOT.

being the pattern that it follows it might be false kr* it is a problem i had to deal with in my comp g and a pain in the back side to find . It happen to be a loose down pipe in my case .

I would second the *false knock* scenario. Change the knock sensors/check wiring on them and see what happens.

I have a Catless DP, K&N SRI, Hahn CP. All have been tuned for. Ill check to see if the exhaust is leaking or if im getting some ping from any metal parts. Not sure at this point what It could be...

I have no access to view my timing tables, Im sure Vince wouldnt have my car running bad timing on the car. Like I said he viewed over a few logs and unless he's lying to me I think its ok.

My dealer wouldnt do warranty work on my car when it was stock, there is no way I could get away with that.

Reading it with dual Aeroforce Interceptors. I had GMS1 installed at a dealership when I was out of town for work and then my local dealership claimed it was an aftermarket unwarrantied part so they voided my warranty.

Yea, I did, it took 5 months to get my $400 back from repairing an install error when the kit was originally installed and to get them to take me off of some sort of list. No apologies about it either. The only other GM vehicle I'll ever buy is the Chevelle I might trade this one in on.

I went to three different dealers, all of them refused to do the work under warranty including the one that originally installed the kit. I think they could care less about losing warranty work, but I was treated like garbage by every service manage and was told to stop conning the dealership into getting free work done.

I did I had a GM rep assigned to me that guaranteed that I'd get my money back, but I didn't get any of the funds from missing two weeks of work, driving back and forth to a dealership 3 hours away, etc... I'm still upset about it and I will never buy another GM daily driver.

My car does the same thing, mostly when I'm into boost. I have a term tune and he is working with me to try an figure it out. The funny thing is, no matter how much he lowers or raises the timing, the knock doesn't change. I can see up to 5 degrees of knock but usually 2.2-3.7 degrees.

Please keep me updated and let me know if you figure it out, I'm going to go through the car this weekend and I'll post if I find anything that solves it or at least minimizes it.
