hahn cai pvc hose coming off problem solution....testing
So i said id invent somthing to solve this problem us hahn cai guys have with hahn not putting on somthing to keep the pvc hose from coming off. so here is what i am trying and it seems to work.
Took a washer that was slightly smaller than ss tube and drilled it out to just fit on the tube, before i put it on there i ground and sanded the washer do it would fit in the end of the pvc hose with the spring lock, then i used jbweld to secure it on the stainless tube we got from hahn. im trying jb weld so eveyone can do it, but if it doesnt hold im gonna get it tig welded at work, if someone is good enough to not burn through it. but ya it clips into the spring lock good, now ill wait for the jbweld to cure and see where im at.
hope this helps out

do you have the one where they give you like a 1.5" tubing that tthe hose is just supposed to like slid over it and not pop off? Thats the one i have, im going to get a longer tubing and try and bend it to get the best alignment, right now i electrical taped mine to stop comen off

ya i got that one, i have been using electrical tape to, had it pop loose once on a no lift shift and it just looks ugly. . but this expiriment will solve it and its pretty easy to do. if the jbweld holds it good, it will never come off. I tested the washer on the spring lock, it holds it good. i wish i had another one of those pipes so i could try tig welding it to see if it melts through or not. it is kinda thin.

i did all the fitting and aligning, but i havent put it on yet, gotta wait for the jbweld to cure.

theres a thread i started with the same exact issue, but with a solution that doesnt involve glue or welding, I'll post some new pics of how I and a few other ppl ended up fixing ours.

mine has not come off but i have been looking at it ever since i read about one guys dejon who rubbed throught his a/c lines....my pcv valve is rubbing on the top of the far left coil pack plug.....any ideas?
Well, they changed the hose connection later on, so you must've gotten one of the earlier ones before they changed it up. The present design is the one everybody is having trouble with.
