Because Hahn is the man and he can charge accordingly. And like others said..no competing canned tunes yet so no need to adjust pricing.

a 1k canned tune and a few hundered dollars cheaper for a stage kit warrantied from GM is worth the wait. I doubt Hahn is going to be able to keep selling that canned tuner that only works on one car for a grand will come to an end.

IMO I the PPC shouldn't sell for a penny more than $300 and I still feel like that is to much.

i dunno i mean it does give you good horsepower gains and it's been said that it will receive updates to help tune when you add bolt-ons. I seriously think $500 would be a fair price.

I could even get 500 bucks but 1000 is crazy.

Vince(Trifecta could tune you for less)

...someone with an LNF should...

I am 50/50 on the price, No one else has a can tune not even DiabloSports, so him being the only one with the Can tune U would charge $1k too. If I wasn't than $400 would be a good price.

You can get dyno tuned by a reputable shop for 500 bucks give or take, the PPC is a rip, plain and simple.

Gives good results, but the price is absurd.

He is out of Washington State.

You tell him your mods, he sends a handheld tuner to you, you upload the base tune, log it, then send him the log, over the internet he updates the tune to fine tune it per se, then you flash it onto your car.
Then you send back the pocket tuner.

I'm still waiting for the stage kit, not so much for the CAI, but more for the learn down delete that comes with it. I don't think the hptuner holds forever. Don't you have to reflash it every once in awhile??

I have a question about HP Tuners.... Can you use the program to adjust the boost and engine settings to give me better fuel milage than horsepower? I love my power, but right now, I need the better economy... Is there some way to have a switch where I can flip from one tune to another, like from economy to a hot rod tune?

come on now! Whats the point in the attacking? We don't need that stuff. I think he is referring to the fact that hahn is the only company that sells it and can charge what ever he wants.

I don't see why not although you can't have a switch to go between the two. At least it wouldn't be that easy. Maybe a laptop with you...

Also, you might actually get better mileage with the more aggressive tune.
