installed new trifecta tune
u can log with the tuner and there's not a huge surge of power after datalogging, vince simply tweaks some numbers where he see's fit to his specifications... its not like doing the datalog will give u another 50 horsepower
I ordered just the cable so maybe it's different for the tuner.. Oh well, I'm happy with it regardless
You are right, but he actually has advanced my timing over 1.5 degrees and I've had zero issues with any knocking thus far.. Not that advancing my timing will spontaniously give me 80whp more, but it should help the process.. I do know one thing, the infiniboost tune he gave me is definitely noticibly more powerfull than the last.. I'm going to a much more reputable race shop on friday to do some more runs. The last guy I went to (Jannetty Racing) was just closer but he's a freakin joke.. His fan was literally 25 feet away and as a result my IC was pretty much imediately heat soaked due to zero air flow.. so we shall see what happens Friday on the dyno.. Either way, I'm sure you've still got the spead covered my man..

Hey man.. J&M Motorsports in Manchester.. I wanted to go to him in the first place, but his shop is like an hour and 20 minutes away from me, but now I'm regretting it like a dummy.. Everyone around my area knows that Jannetty is pretty much a joke, but I was hoping he could handle a simple dyno pull.. Apparently not.. Take Friday off and take a trip up with me..

Your just pissed your car didn't make nearly as much power as My tunes do.
When we dynoed it and it was struggling to rev over 6 grand I could see the look on your face. Priceless
Then when I overlayed the graphs of my tune and yours I thought you were going to cry.
And as far as airflow in the dyno, if your car was not tied down it would blow right out the door.

Two strong points for Trifecta besides greater power and true personalized custom tune:
1-Undetectable
2-Ability to switch between stock and tune mode instantly...great for valet parking or wife
This ability to switch at will with a push of a button is also great for comparison of tune change...or driving in poor weather...

and the stock tune in my car gives far better mpg than having the tune loaded all the time. MY realtime mpg meter is off the charts when I don't have the tune engaged.

The only difference between the tune you wrote, and the one I have is that your power came on what, 500rpms sooner.. woopdy-******-do brotha.. I give you a nice pat on the back.. Maybe you should step down and let your son take things over up there seeing as how he at least knows how to treat customers. I can't say better things about Mike at J&M he treats customers great and is a super nice guy, hense me going so far out of my way to do business with him..

dont know about my trifecta tune so far as I only had it for a week and been beating the crap out of the car to data log
but my bsr tune got worse gas milage than stock, not that much, but maybe a mpg or 2
