i recommand using the high temp red rtv over the black oil type rtv. because the red rtv can support an extra 150+ degree over the black and you can still use it in place where oil are gonna be.

btw, i just fixed all three of the leaks. the cap, sensor, and the pump using the red high temp rtv. gotta wait 24 hours cure time. so i will go and check tomorrow afternoon.

Can someone here remind me why I should keep this car? She's been in the dealership for over a week because she won't make boost, and they cant figure out why, before that she was poppin'g fuel trim codes left and right, and now I have this to look forward too? Hell the car only has 14k on it and it's spent more time at the dealer than at my house, WTF?

Yeah it's nice to have performance, but I'll take 100 ftlbs of torque over constantly broken any day, I'm starting to wish I had gotten the first gen Speed3

Oil Leaks

Ive been reading around through this thread and noticed they have been dated from 2009... Does anyone know if GM has created a new sensor or seal that has fixed this problem? I am looking into getting a 2008 T/C but if its going to have problems with leaking oil i may have to rethink it. Do yall have an easy fix or know of a proper fix for this kind of problem?

Hope to hear from yall soon!

It's really not a big deal. There is a TSB for it. They just re-seal the cam endplate.
