Introducing Trifecta ECP- BIG NEWS
Bottom line is if you don't like Trifecta, keep out of the thread. You don't see Trifecta people going into an HPTuners thread and start bashing HPTuners. This thread is about a specific Trifecta feature and the development of it. Not to argue about what tuning software or tuner is better.
What I was trying to say has nothing to do with what tuning software or tuner is better. Here is my point spelled out as clearly as I can...
The reason I posted in this thread is because I'm trying to inject a balance of sanity here. Same thing I tried to do when Vince claimed his HPFP "discovery" was going to "Solve all the fueling issues on the LNF" (His quote exactly). I stated that was false and an uneducated statement. Hmm, guess what? Plenty of time has passed and I don't see his "discovery" solving anything, is it? Everything I posted in that thread was factual and accurate. The Vince cult members just didn't want to hear it.
Yes, having the ability to tune VE / speed density tables in the E69 is a good thing. My point is having a guy that knows very little about actually tuning trying to manipulate those tables is ridiculous. Vince can find code, I've always admitted and stressed that. He's WAY over his head in trying to manipulate VE tables in an E69 though. That's a fact, plain and simple. If Vince wants to discuss or refute that with me, he can. I'm just tired of having guys come to me with f'd up Trifecta tunes, and then hearing about these amazing "discoveries", when the end result of them is just a bunch of messed up tunes and unhappy customers.
Here's my challenge- can ANYONE out here show a log or proof that this "new" tune has done ANYTHING beneficial? ANYTHING. PLEASE. I posted a log showing what proper MAF/VE tuning should look like on an LNF. It was promptly deleted, as were my other posts.

^^Your posts along with my posts questioning WHY your posts were deleted were actually deleted as well. So much for bringing up valid questions.
I'm sure you'll never read this though judging by how fast posts are being deleted. Keep flexing those muscles mods..

Vince has done this upgrade trying to solve issues with intakes and blow off valves. Vince has always been very helpful to this community and why knock him for trying something new for free to his customers! If you don't like it then keep it to yourself this is for Trifecta customers! Everyone makes mistakes but Vince has always done more than what is expected by a true tuner, this is why I'm a loyal customer.....
Email me your VIN (customersupport@badnewsracing.net) and just say you are already a trifecta customer and want to try ECP. You need a cable first though if you don't already have one.
also... i could imagine this is a busy time for you now?
i would not like to wait days for an update on my tune after i datalog it...
after about a week of datalogging my car, car still runs bad... jerks around a lot at partial throttle... and spikes to 8 AFR some times...
lol....
i would like to try it... but not at the cost of my car... if it is still in beta version and not ready to release... then i would rather wait...

So then, you can run the ECP version of your tune, then switch back to the tune you recorded before installing the ECP version...
i still have the tune file that i am currently running... also have all the previous ones...
If I send you ECP and you don't like it, you can always revert back to the old tune as long as you have the file saved. Also the turn around time is only a couple weeks if the car is running fine but you sent in a log anyway. If the car is experiencing any issues we make your log priority and will look at it the same day.

i'm now running e47.
vince has been changing the trims and now with ecp they are closer to being perfected.
i'm pretty much in clutch slipping territory, so i'm going to take it easy.
got a clutch sitting in the garage for this reason anyways.

So an update on my testing...
Vince has discontinued testing with me for the time being. He's going to focus on getting the stock VE people set up and then may circle back to do R&D on a hybrid MAF/ECP strategy for altered engine variations.

Well my cars running quite awesome. I got a trim adjustment update yesterday and the car just keeps pulling. even in 16 psi the car wants to spin my tires. granted my tires are pretty worn down, but still that never happened before. i've been driving around with the 16 psi tune cause its actually incredibly fun.

i thought for a while my clutch was slipping, but its pulling hard and sticking.
i also don't mash the peddle ever, but I work my way into it....FWD.
i also uploaded the ecp to a sky yesterday that was auto. vince said it was the first one. then also datalogged for a nonecp tune. it pulled hard on both. i think vince is kind of planning on joining them together. should be awesome.
as far as I can tell the a/r gauge is constantly around 13.4-13.5 when flooring it so it's look pretty good. i imagine more power could be made by leaning it out , but thats beyond my control.
aw lame.
