Hold on one sec, i have the thread in my posts. I also have the spring. here is the thread --->https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=145889 It took me about 15-20 mins to install. I removed the Intake from the filter box to the turbo to make it easier. also moved the T-Bolt clamp from the rubber expansion tube to get some more room. Two things were a pain in the ass. The worm clamp holding the intake to turbo, and starting the bolts when you put in the new spring. The new one is alot stiffer and harder to push in (no naughty thoughts). Once you get the two screws started its easy.

Exactly my thoughts. Getting the intake off the turbo was the biggest pain of them all for me because the screw was pointed towards the firewall and SLIGHTLY behind the BOV. Plus I have big hands...

I have a tune and then installed the spring later. I DEFINITELY noticed a difference. I can't say for stock... but with a tune - best $10 you will spend.

I can't speak for stock tune but with an aftermarket tune. YES.... I can tell just by seat of the pants there is a gain.

Homework done - if they leak performance is there to be gained.

It's quite common practice for OEM BOV/BPV to be configured as "unbalanced" meaning they will leak at high boost. The reason being to prevent boost spikes. So then upon raising the boost via a tune it is quite possible to have a boost leak.

I would not be one tiny bit surprised if this setup was the same since GM is obviously concerned with keeping that 260 tq held in check via the ECU.
