adding mods to a car with zero tune will kill the power. it will eat the torque. hence the messed up numbers

the wire he is hooking to the coil is what is used to cal. torque. I had this same problem. I would do 300whp and 120tq. got to pull the heat sheilding back as much as poss. so you can clip onto it to get the correct readings. sounds like you need to change dyno shops.....

Its the tune IMO....Trifecta's tune has been putting down the highest numbers as of yet for the LNF. Lets see I paid $250 for the tune, $165 total for the intake, and $50 for the muffler delete and I got 307/361 the track opens next saturday..lets hope for some low low 13's or a high 12...all according to traction though.
Wait until I post my new numbers later. Lets just say those who believe that boltons are not worth much on the LNF are wrong. Airflow went from 32 lbs/min. to 37.4 lbs/min I gained a ton of horsepower over my tune only numbers. The trifecta tune made approx 287 whp STD and 301 whp uncorrected with just the tune. Steve has gotten numbers in that range. I made 307 whp STD. on just a tune and alot more now. Just waiting for my tuner to email me the new sheets.

Just remember, mustang dynos do not always show lower numbers. On the new dyno jets you can also put load on the dyno. Most normal dyno places with the new dyno jets tune with 10-15% load on the dyno. Roadrage06 can attest to this because he got his car dyno tuned with the loan on a dyno jet. It simulates the wheels rotating on the asphalt. Nice numbers, SS/TC rocks.

They used an Optical sensor placed on the roller to measure torque. We first used the coil technique bu that was showing really low torque. They tried it on each coil to make sure and that didn't work. That's why they decided to uses the optical sensor cause they use that on deisel's. They had no idea though how to setup the software side of the house. I don't know. Sucks cause with all I invested I would have lied to see my car break 300+whp. ****, I'm down about my car. Any takers to buy?

Hey man, don't feel so down. As it is, you're toasting that SRT4. I might check into another places to get a dyno and/or tune just in case the people there don't know what they're doing or the tune isn't working out on your vehicle.

Every car is different and what may work great for one may not work on another. Heck, even stock there is difference between them (like in the case of "factory freaks"). I'm thinking maybe a different place to get your power numbers from would be a good double-check. In addition, maybe a different tune would work better for your specific vehicle. I've heard good things about others out there.

Other than that, there's always the inexpensive thing of checking piping and hooking your baby up to a code scanner to see if maybe something's going on that you don't know about behind the scenes.
