K&N intake with trifecta tune

K&N intake with trifecta tune

if i get the K&N intake will it be ok with my trifecta tune im running 22psi?

Its better if you do though, especially for an open pipe, thats where LNFs make good gains

As for the intake, get it tuned for man. Theres a bajillion threads on this. Intake=MAF skew. You need to tune for it so your fuel trims are not all wonky.

then ill probably do a rutune in the spring cause im going to get a full exhaust and injen cp over winter. i think it like 40 bucks for a retune

If you have a cattless dp and are getting an intake soon I would have it retuned when you get the intake. You won't need to have it retuned after adding charge pipes .... I know that from experience .... and I doubt a catback would need one either.

Your best bet is to just buy the tuning cable from Vince. That way he can give you quick updates on your tune and you're good to go. Small updates for Intakes or DP's are free if you go this route.

Yep.... the cable was a must have for me . I can throw the stock tune back on in 5 min's if needed and If I change the car I can grab logs and send them in for adjustment. It's money well spent IMHO.

i emailed vince in reference to this i just got my tune and i haven't installed my downpipe, he told me he wouldn't have to retune my car just for the downpipe
